About DiLeo Oral Surgery

Located at 4104 Tilghman St, Allentown, PA 18104, DiLeo Oral Surgery operates as an oral serving Allentown in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Around Allentown, specialist offices tend to cluster near hospitals and in medical office parks, and wait times for a consultation run from a few days for an endodontist to several weeks for a busy orthodontist. Most consultations across Pennsylvania are free or low-cost and come with a written treatment plan and price; ask whether the fee is in-network for your plan, what sedation options exist and how many visits the treatment takes. A second opinion is normal for implants, jaw surgery and full-mouth reconstruction, and reputable specialists expect it.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. Typical hours are 8:30 am–4:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach DiLeo Oral Surgery at (610) 821-0422; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, dileooms.com.

Its Google rating is 3.8 out of 5 from 48 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Allentown is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Allentown is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Excellent oral suregeon! Atmosphere is quiet and Dr. DiLeo is calming and soft spoken. Very upfront with costs and procedure. Front office (Stacy and Katie) are absolutely patient and kind and I am a very anxious patient. Surgical Staff attentive to my concerns. Im absolutely terrified of needles and have had good/bad experiences with that and this was top notch- I didnt feel the usual pinch. Surgery itself was effecient and pain/swelling has been extremely minimal. Given the complexity of what was completed, I attribute the ease of recovery to how the procedure was handled with precision and care. Thank you all for making what was a dreaded experience light and reassuring. I appreciated it.

Dr DiLeo is amazing oral surgeon ! My 2nd wisdom tooth removed and my daughter has been there too; good staff as well. He’s professional and easy to talk too about whatever your concerns are. Easy to schedule and front office is courteous.

Positive prior experience with the surgeon however his staff is greatly lacking. Be sure to check in advance that they processed your insurance and have the referrals they insist upon. Dr Dileo removed wisdom teeth for both my kids several years ago. When I learned that an impacted wisdom tooth was the cause of the increasing pain in my tooth, jaw, and neck, I believed Dr Dileo would be the trusted choice for treatment. I had a thorough conversation with a staff member when I made the appointment. She told me to request my dentist send an X-ray. She took my insurance details and said it should be straightforward as my kids had both been there. I waited 3 weeks for the consult appointment. On the Friday before my Monday appointment I received a call to confirm. This other staff said my dentist sent an X-ray almost 3 weeks prior but had not included a referral and that I had to get one before the appointment. She also said my insurance was not going through but then discovered she was misspelling my name! After being unable to reach my dentist whose office is closed on Friday, I called back to Dr Dileo’s staff and was told that despite my severe pain, I could not be seen without

Would not recommend for highly anxious children. Our 9 year old needed 6 baby teeth removed in a timely manner for orthodontics. When I scheduled weeks prior, I was very transparent to my child’s extreme anxiety and tendencies, but was assured that I had nothing to worry about as the staff is very experienced with young children like this. When we were led into the procedure room, all needles and tools were literally left out in view and my daughter obviously melted down. There were no precautionary measures taken into account even when they were forewarned. I also had reminded at the front desk upon check in. There was also next to no effort given to help calm her, just the immediate decision being made to reschedule at a later time in a hospital setting, which SHOULD have been the first recommended course of action taken when the appointment was initially scheduled due to my disclosure upfront. The entire negative encounter may also been avoided had tools not been left out in view. Even as an adult, I would had appreciated not seeing them. So, tons of anxiety on child’s AND parent’s part leading up to the appointment day, just to be prolonged to another time. Oh yes, and
